Vivek Mukherjee

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Law from NLIU, Bhopal (2015); further pursuing LLM with specialization in Human Rights from NLSIU, Bangalore (2016). It was during these years that I worked as a teaching assistant under Prof. M.P. Singh and Prof. M.K.  Ramesh, that created an affinity towards teaching. In 2016, I joined COLS, UPES; where I taught for about a year. In 2017, I joined NALSAR.
The shift from being a student to being a teacher has been quite smooth to me. In fact, it was the idea of never having to leave academics and research, that I decided to teach. International and Environmental laws are my areas of interest. Exploring these laws vis-à-vis the locale of agriculture in India, is what I am working with for my doctoral thesis. At NALSAR, I am also co-ordinating Law and Other Things (LAOT), India's first and most prestigious law blog.
As a student, I have actively been involved with street theatre. In my spare time I like to work on my culinary and percussionist skills.

Pursuing PhD from NALSAR, Hyderabad.

LL.M- NLSIU Bangalore (Human Rights Law).

B.A.LL.B (Hons)- NLIU Bhopal.
