NALSAR University of Law has established the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair on Constitutional Law and Social Inclusion, reaffirming its commitment to constitutional values, equality, and social justice.

Named after B. R. Ambedkar, the Chair seeks to promote scholarship, dialogue, and policy engagement on constitutional governance and the inclusion of marginalized communities. It will support academic research, lectures, and outreach initiatives focused on equality, dignity, and social transformation within constitutional frameworks.

The Chair is expected to become an important institutional space for examining contemporary issues relating to social exclusion, affirmative action, and democratic participation, while preserving and advancing Ambedkar’s intellectual legacy.
