Dr. Raju Guntukula is an applied economist and researcher focusing on climate, agriculture, energy, and development. His research covers climate change economics and policy, climate vulnerability and adaptation, agricultural sustainability, and energy and environmental economics. His work emphasizes the application of advanced econometric methods to support evidence-based, policy-relevant insights for sustainable development.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the School of Economics at the University of Hyderabad. His doctoral dissertation analyzes the impacts of climate change on agriculture in Telangana, along with the vulnerability and adaptation responses of farming community. Dr Guntukula has published his scholarly work in internationally acclaimed journals by Springer, Sage, Wiley and Emerald, indexed in Scopus and ABDC.
Notable distinctions include receiving the Best Paper Award from the Telangana Economic Association and being awarded the UGC–Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Dr Raju continues to engage in research addressing pressing issues in climate, energy and environmental sustainability.
