Anti-Drug Committee

The Anti-Drug Committee at NALSAR is constituted to ensure a safe, healthy, and substance-free campus environment. The Committee brings together faculty, administrative staff, security personnel, law enforcement representatives, student members, counsellors, and alumni to address issues related to drug and substance abuse through prevention, awareness, and disciplinary mechanisms.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To organize awareness programs in the college with the help of concerned authorized agencies/organizations and to engage the students in Anti-Drug activities
  • To educate the students about the ill-effects of drugs and alcohol
  • To encourage peer policing students against the use of drugs and reporting of any noticed use of drugs by the students to the student representatives of the Anti-Drugs committee.
  • To spread awareness to ensure a drug/substance free campus.
  • To motivate students to become volunteers of Anti-Drug activities in their life
  • The Committee shall consider the recommendations of the Anti-Drug Squad and take appropriate decisions including spelling out suitable punishments to those found guilty as per the Regulations.
