NALSAR is committed to ensuring the mental well-being of its students through accessible, confidential, and professional support systems available both on-campus and online. All these facilities are free of charge to support the students’ well-being.
Experienced and senior Counsellor Dr.Varudhini Kankipati is engaged by the university provides personalized counselling both on-campus and online to address academic, emotional, and social challenges faced by students, staff, and families.
Counselling & Mental Health Support Services
The University has engaged the services of experienced senior counsellors through online counselling platforms, which are available 24/7.
In collaboration with Praan, NALSAR offers an in-person counselling sessions with trained professionals. It is a team of experienced Sr. Counsellor at the supervisory level, one male and one female counsellor, who visit on weekly basis.
The counsellor’s office is located in the basement of the Administrative Block (near the music room), and students may walk in without prior appointments.

Students can also access counselling sessions online throughout the week:

Note: In case of crisis calls, a counsellor will follow up within 12 hours to provide necessary support.
NALSAR has also partnered with MindPeers, an online platform connecting students with certified therapists for virtual sessions.
One-hour therapy sessions conducted via Google Meet Accessible through the MindPeers app or web platform Register as “Corporate Users” using your NALSAR email ID
