Assistant Professor of Law

Nivedha S is Assistant Professor of Taxation Law at NALSAR University. Her areas of specialisation include Direct and Indirect Taxes, International Taxation Law, Transfer Pricing, and Corporate Finance and Taxation.

Nivedha was awarded the Justice M Srinivasan Gold Medal and ranked first in her LLM programme. She is pursuing her PhD at Dr Ambedkar Law University, focusing on international taxation.

Nivedha has published in various peer-reviewed and UGC-recognised journals and has presented papers at national and international conferences and seminars. Her research publications examine the interface among taxation, intellectual property, environmental regulation, and the digital economy, with a focus on evolving regulatory frameworks in these areas.

Nivedha is also associated with the Centre for Tax Laws and conducts professional training programmes for Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers at the National Academy of Direct Taxes.

She actively contributes to academic governance and scholarship, serving as an Editorial Board Member of the NALSAR Law Review and as an Associate Editor of the Ambedkar Law University Tax Law Review (ALUTLR).
