Sunishth Goyal is passionate about the study and teaching of Criminal Justice System, with a focus on how the legal system balances public safety and individual rights. His academic and professional background reflects a deep commitment to exploring the intersection of law enforcement practices and procedural compliances, and the rights of the accused. He also focuses upon Law of Narcotics and the development of global narcotics criminalisation regime. He pursued his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Thereafter, he pursued his Masters specialising in Criminal Justice from Maastricht University of Law, Netherlands where he was awarded the Maastricht University – Holland High Potential Scholarship.
