NALSAR Basketball Tournament

The NALSAR Basketball Tournament is a fast-paced, high-energy 3v3 half-court competition that brings together the best of campus sport and community spirit. Featuring separate men’s and women’s brackets, along with a mixed category, the tournament ensures wide participation while maintaining a competitive edge.

To promote fairness, team compositions are carefully regulated—no more than one player from the official NALSAR men’s starting five can be part of a team, with similar caps in the women’s category ensuring a level playing field and encouraging fresh talent to shine. Short, intense matches, dynamic scoring, and sudden-death overtimes make every game exciting and unpredictable.

Adding to its significance, the tournament is backed by the NALSAR alumni network, with winners receiving prize money contributed by alumni making it not just a contest of skill, but a celebration of the institution’s enduring community.
