Binod Kumar Rajak

Assistant Professor of Management

Dr. Binod Kumar Rajak is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management Studies at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. He joined the NALSAR faculty in March 2022, contributing to teaching, research, and academic administration.

He teaches core and advanced courses in Human Resource Management, Organisational Change and Development, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership, Performance Management and Counselling, Business Research Methodology, Design Thinking and Sustainable Development Goals to BBA, MBA, and PhD scholars.

Dr. Rajak earned his PhD in Management (HR/OB) from the School of Management Studies at the University of Hyderabad (Institute of Eminence). His doctoral research examined family incivility and teachers’ job dissatisfaction, with a specific focus on emotional labour and perceived organisational support. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (HRM) and Commerce, and has a firm grounding in quantitative research methods, including SPSS, AMOS, SEM, EFA, and CFA.

His research interests lie in the family–work interface, including family incivility, emotional labour, job satisfaction, employee performance, entrepreneurship, social media usage, and job-related outcomes.

Dr. Rajak has published extensively in reputable ABDC-, Scopus-, and Web of Science–indexed journals, including Evidence-based HRM, Work, Social Sciences & Humanities Open, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, and International Journal of Educational Management. He also has several manuscripts under review and ready for submission to high-impact journals.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Rajak actively contributes to institutional development through course design and review, mentoring postgraduate and doctoral scholars, and serving as Student Coordinator and Library Coordinator for International Affairs. He is also a regular resource person at universities and national institutions, delivering sessions on research design, publication strategies, leadership development, motivation, and team building.
